--Twin Labyrinths (B-5) Tablet

Beelzebub (ベルゼブブ, Beruzebubu) is the final Sub-Boss of the game, and is found in both the Shrine of the Mother and the True Shrine of the Mother. When he's first encountered in the Shrine of the Mother, he does not attack, instead floating in the middle of the room, watching Lemeza. When attacked, he bursts into a cloud of flies that quickly reassemble.

Second form

Beelzebub has two forms: a human form and a fly form.

In his first form, Beelzebub flies across the room. He pauses on each side to spray small insects at Lemeza. In his fly form, he floats closer to Lemeza's reach and continues shooting small flies. He also gets larger flies that orbit around him.

Weak PointEdit

Anywhere. Beelzebub flies around the room making him a little difficult to hit.

Each form can be defeated by around 10 hits with the Flail Whip and Software Combinations to support it.

A single small fly does very little damage, so keeping a shield up will prevent most of his damage.

The fly attack in his first form can be dodged if you are standing immediately under him and walk toward the center of the room as he fires. You can then get into a good position to hit him with the Whip or Axe as he flies to the other side of the room.

Beelzebub refers to the name of a deity worshipped in the Philistine city of Ekron, referred to as the "Lord of the Flies"[1]. The design of his fly form in La-Mulana is similar to his depiction in Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal (Paris, 1863) [2].
